On 16-10-12 at around 5.30, PFA Ghaziabad recieved an information from Saurabh that hundreds of illegal birds are being taken through parcel in the train Kalka passenger. The train had to stop for 2 minutes at Old Ghaziabad railway station. Ashima Sunil along with the PFA members reached old Ghaziabad railway station and reported to the station superintendent and the GRP Police about the matter.

The parcel of innocent birds and rabbits was booked by Mohammad Fareed in Kanpur and had to reach Bardhvan. Poor birds and animals were stuffed so brutally in a small cage that around 150 birds and rabbits died.

After Maneka gandhi's call to DRM, poor birds and animals were handed over. 280 birds and 90 rabbits were sent them to Sanjay Gandhi hospital for treatment and care at night. FIR has been lodged against the offender, Mohammad Fareed under the IPC 428,429 and wild life protection act 1972.
