PFA Alipurdaur - Treatment of injured Puppy

PFA Alipurduar - RESCUE REPORT FOR THE MONTH OF MAY 2012

gallery pfa alipurdaurPFA Alipurduar rescued the following animals during the month of May 2012 :-
  1. On 5th May at 12:30 pm a black colour pup was resuced form new town area. The pup neck was infected. Necessary treatment was given and now it is at PFA shelter.
  2. On 4th May at 3:00 pm a black colour dog was resuced  from Modok Para. The dog was umable to stand and move. It was treated  but unfortunately expired on 6th May.
  3. On 8th May at 1:30 pm a white & brown spotted dog was resuced from Shibbari with the injury at his back. Treatment is under going at our shelter.
  4. On 10th May at 5:00 pm a ash coloured civet cat was resuced form Engineering Colony. It was treated but died on 17th May. A brwon coloured pup was also resuced form the new town (APD) area which was not moving properly. It's treatment is on at our shelter.
  5. On 11th May at 10:30 am a kitten was resuced form the Binaguri which was hit by a car. The spinal cord was damaged in this accident. It was died on 14th May. On the same day a dog was also resuced from Biraguri. It is now at our shelter.
  6. On 12th May at 11:00 am a spotted deer was resuced from Jotiskor more. Later it was released to B.T. R. on the same day.
  7. On 14th May a Barn owl was rescued form Arabinda colony with injury on its left wing. After treatment it was released to B.T. R. on 16th May. A Dog rescued for the Municipality area. It's left leg was injured. After treatment it is kept as our shelter home. A chick also resuced.
  8. On 15th May a kitten was resuced from the new town area which was lost her mother. Now it is at our shelter home.
  9. On 21st May a dog by resuced form railway station area with maggot on the back. After one week treatment it was cured and released.
  10. On 24th May a smal pup was resuced from Samuktala road area with skin disease. It's teatment is under going at our shetler.

PLACE OF RESCUE: Cochbihar Rail way station.
DWELLING AREA: Near station

CONDITION OF ANIMAL: A part of its jaw was cut by an accident. after treatment
ACTION TAKEN: Some one handed over it to us, treatment is continuing, it was improving.

SPECISES: Dog
DATE OF RESCUE: 5/1/12

PLACE OF RESCUE: Bholar dabri
DRESCRIPTION: Color: Black with white mixed.
CONDITION OF ANIMAL: Its right hinder leg was injured. Any how a plastic rope wrapped on its leg for which it became ill and unable to normally walk.
ACTION TAKEN: Removed the rope and treated
PRESENT CONDITION: After 7 days treatment it was cured.

DRESCRIPTION: Color: Black and white spotted. Sex: F
CONDITION OF ANIMAL: Its back portion was paralyzed. By a train accident.
ACTION TAKEN: Getting the information we reached the spot and rescued and started treatment.
RESULT: Treatment was continuing.

PLACE OF RESCUE: Near upal mokhor club    
CONDITION OF ANIMAL: Back portion was fully paralyzed.
ACTION TAKEN: Rescued and sheltered.
RESULT: Next day it was exp.

EVENT: It was fallen from an electric post. Perhaps it was case of electric shock, rescued and nourishment was provided. After 3 days it was set free.

SPECISES: Bird (pigeon)
DATE OF RESCUE: 4/1/12
TIME OF RESCUE: 12:15 p.m.
EVENT: It was wounded by the catapol. Treatment and nourishment was provided. After 3 days it was released.

SPECISES: Bird (kite)

EVENT: It was fallen from a tree. It was very sick and having diarrhea, treatment was provided. After 4 days it was cured and released.

EVENT: lying under a tree, it was unable to fly. It was case of poisoning by pesticide directly or indirectly. We rescued but expired.

PFA Alipurdarpur - Activities Report For the Month of October 2011

Ref Gallery PFA AlipurdarpurRESCUE OPERATION:- During this month we have became able to rescue 21 animals. Among those 11 nos. are snakes, which have been released except one rare species. Rest 10 nos. of Animals are sheltered in our custody.
 
PET CLINIC:- This month two nos. of pet clinic have been organized. 74 Nos. of animals were treated and medicine provided.
 
SPOT TREATMENT:- 57 nos of stray animals have been treated under this programme.
 
OPD: - 42 nos. of cases were covered through OPD service.

Gallery PFA AlipurduarPet treatment (pet clinic) :first and third Saturday on every month the pet clinic had been organized as usual with the co-operation Of Dr.T. K. Podder. During this month the following work done :
67 pet Animals Treated.
OPD Services :74 animals were treated in our OPD.  
Rescue operation : 12 animals were rescued, 5 snakes which were released in course of time. 3 cow, dog, Pup died and 4 animals are in our Shelter.
Spot treatment: 52 stray animals were treated though our spot treatment.

Activity Report for August, 2010

PFA  AlipurdaurRescue: 34 animal were rescued. (Snakes-23  Kittens-4, Dogs-2 , Monkey- 1,  Birds – 4 ) Presently two dogs, two kittens one bird and one monkey have been kept at the shelter. Others have been treated and releases.

Pet Clinic:-  52  Pet animals were treated including dogs,goats, bullocks, cows and calves. 

O P D Service:-  30 pet animals were provided treatment and medicine including dogs, cats, cows, calves and goats.

PFA AliurdaurOn the Spot treatment: -  83 street animals were provided.

Treatment primarily dogs and cats.

Shelter animals:- At present the shelter houses 11  Dogs, 4 Cats, 4 kittens, 4 pups, 1 bird, 1 cow, 1 monkey.

Rescued 40 animals in July : Snakes-29 , Kittens-2 , Dogs-8  Cat- 1 . 

70 Pet animals were treated in this clinic : Piglet, dog, goat, bullock cow, calf

 64 stray animals were provided on the spot treatment  (mainly dogs)

 Dogs Released from Special Military Train ( Naga regiment where they had been caught for meat.

In May , People for Animals Alipurduar  rescued 68 animals of which 53 were snakes, 4 birds , 7 kittens , 3 dogs and a goat . 48 dogs were treated on the spot and 73 animals were treated at the pet clinic.
