The Turtle Story : Rescued Turtle
The month started with a raid in Mukundapur local market. 1st June, at mid noon two local boys came to the shelter and informed us that a person was selling few turtle in market. Despite of giving a warning the person refused to hand over the turtle to them.We immediately rushed to the spot and informed the local police and by the time police reached there our team with the help of local people caught him red handed. The way the turtle were kept few of them were died, police handed over us the alive ones. We got them in our shelter and released them in our big pond.
 

A visit of senior citizen in ASHARI :-
It was 3rd June Pedigree and ASHARI jointly organized a visit of senior citizen in ASHARI for human animal interaction program in ASHARI premises. It was really wonderful to see the granny’s were roaming around among the animals, giggling, singing, patting animals and shearing their childhood moments with their pets, sitting in lawn. It seemed that they had gone back to their childhood and really enjoyed the evening as their heart contain.

Vaccination Camp:-
There was a vaccination camp on early of the month organized by KMC where ASHARI also took part and vaccinated around 150 dogs in three wards.

The Three Legged Calf:-
The calf rescued from high way came to shelter with one hind leg completely broken. Our Veterinary doctor, Dr. Pari Talukder had successfully done the amputation of her leg. Now the three legged calf has started moving.

Grooming Pets in OPD :-
We have introduced grooming in our OPD from this month which has got a very good response among the pet owners. We have facility of giving medicated bath, anti-tick or fleas bath, nail clipping, ear cleaning, hair trimming.
