
Kareli- on World Environment Day a meeting was organised in the Municipality Board Hall. The Chief Guest was Dr. Sunil Kumar Sharma addressing the meeting and told the adverse effect of the increasing temperature. He warns that increase temperature will be the reason for the destruction of whole humanity. Now, this is the need of time to stop increasing temperature by our personal efforts. Economic development is the main cause in increasing temperature. This is responsible for the extinction of many species. He also expresses his view on the activities of the BHARTIYA JEEV JANTU KALYAN BOARD. The vice president of the Municipality Mr. Neeraj Loonavat said to protect our environment; it is very important to plant more tree and also to conserve them. We should plant tree on large scale in the city. Special Guest Maa Geetanjali said the forests are our fortune which were the resident for many famous saints and rishies. The life given river Narmada, flow in our area so it is our duty to protect it. Jagdish Mishra show his worrires about the degrading mountains and polluted rivers and decreasing agricultural area. He said we should take a resolution to plant at least one tree in our life. On this occasion PFA Mr. Bhagirath Tiwari was honoured by Saal Sreephal.
