
Kareli, early at 5 am on 7th July 2012, a wounded deer was rescued from the stray dogs at gram panchayat Garha which is 10 km away form the city. The deer was 3 years old. The deer was wandring in the village in the wounded condition. Some villagers saw it and immedieatly infromed to the sarpanch of the village. As a matter of humanity the Sarpanch gave the information to the PFA and the Animal Welfare Officer. They all reached the point at once and brought the deer to the local vet. hospital at Kareli and gave the necessary treatment and save the life of the deer. After treatment it was handover to the forest department of Kareli.
